About the Show
Let Your Mind Wander
“…throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor. Catch the tradewinds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Samuel Clemens (aka Mark Twain)
What do you discover when you let your mind wander? Through art I share what I discover as I explore my wandering mind. The pieces in this show are discoveries I’ve translated onto paper or canvas using colored pencil, ink and watercolor, or acrylic paint. As a group, upon reflection, I see visual explorations of ambiguities: peace armor, soothing turbulence, eyeing the familiar in the unknown. What do you see?
